Job title: Receptionist
Birthday: May 7
Tell us about your family: My family is the biggest part of my life. I have a beautiful mother that I love to pieces. A dad that has always been by my side and two crazy sisters that always make me laugh. Last but not least the love of my life, Chad, that I absolutely could not live without. I am truly blessed.
How long have you been at Seasons? What are you going to school for? I have been with Seasons for 5 short months. I feel like I have been there for years. The girls are amazing, talented women. I am currently finishing my degree at Crafton Hills College so I can eventually get my BS Degree in Nutrition.
When did you know this is what you wanted to do? I have known for quite a while that nursing was my career of choice. I made my mind up my senior year of high school when I became my mother’s caretaker due to several surgeries she had to endure. At that point in time I truly believed that I was put on this earth to take care of people.
What inspires you? Caring, passionate, and kind people inspire me. I love seeing others do nice things or go out of their way for one another. That is what makes the world go round.
Favorite trends? Least favorite trends? My favorite trend is definitely the natural blonde, long hair with a beach wave look. My least favorite is the pink hombre.
Favorite Aveda Products: My favorite products from Aveda are the Scalp Benefits shampoo and conditioner. For someone who has psoriasis like I do it really makes my scalp feel a sense of relief. It also makes my hair shine and really feel healthy.
Why do you love Aveda? Seasons? I love Aveda because it is as natural as you can get. There are no harsh chemicals in it and there is so much variety that any hair type can find something to benefit them the most. What can I say? I love Seasons, it is by far my favorite job I have had yet. The girls are very inspiring and they help keep up on all the new hair ideas. They are all very unique and brilliant.
Have any professional goals or dreams for yourself? I would definitely say my dream is to obtain my degree as quickly as possible and start a family. I can’t wait to have children.
Where do you see the industry in 5 years? Where do you see yourself? This industry will only grow bigger and bigger. There is constantly some new hair color or hair style that people rush in to get. People cannot live without their monthly and sometimes even weekly hair salon visits. I see myself in 5 years having my degree and getting a job for a wonderful hospital doing what I love.
My Motto: Life is what happens to you when you’re working for your future.
