Anna Bianca Pacino
Tell us about your family:
My family is everything! I am my mother's daughter and I wouldn't have it any other way. My family consists of my father Vincenzo, my mother Mercy, my sister Sofia, and my fiancée Chad.
I'm marrying the love of my life in December 2013 and am so excited to be marrying my best friend. Chad and I are the biggest nerds ever. We enjoy all of the usual nerdy stuff, including books, talk about superheroes, and video games.
How long have you been at Seasons? How long since you started your
Seasons is my first and only salon I've worked at. I'm relatively new to the hair game, and I've been working here for 7 months.
When did you first know that this was what you wanted to
When I realized that design played a major role in hair styling is when I knew that styling hair would be perfect for me. I had been working as a Jr. Designer at NBC's Universal Studios when I realized that working behind a computer screen for eight hours a day, with no human contact, wasn't something I particularly liked doing. But, using hair as a way of exploring my creativity blew my mind away!
What Inspires you?
Nature and Music inspire me. All the patterns and colors that the world just creates on its own for us to use as beings is beyond phenomenal. Being diagnosed with Synesthesia has a major impact on what inspires me creatively. Colors and patterns read differently to me than most.
What is your favorite thing about what you
Making people feel beautiful, inside and out. Simple as that.
Favorite Aveda Products?
I really love finishing products, especially air control hairspray. It's super light and smells awesome, almost like bubble gum.
Why do you love Aveda? Seasons?
No one loves Aveda more than me! The color line is like paint. Every color is customizable; this method is unlike any other color line. This gives me ultimate creativity with my guests. Seasons is my home away from home. I love my family here. They have adopted me as one of their own. Here's to many years at Seasons!
Have any professional goals or dreams for
I really really really want to win a North American Hairstyling award (NAHA). It would change my life. I also want to become a purefessional educator, as well as become a global artist for Aveda. In the future, I want to eventually open up an Aveda advanced education center and salon.
Where do you see the industry in 5 years? Where do you see yourself?
I see the industry moving into more Eco-friendly based companies, like the way Aveda is now. By using plant oils and natural ingredients in our products, we are harvesting and using what the earth is producing for us to use, for free.
I see myself starting the process to achieving all of my personal goals above. I'm what you call a "go-getter". No one can stop me.
